Barry Moore starts for the Senators and gives up 3 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings pitched. Casey Cox relieves Moore after Bob Allison's 2-run home run, and gives up 2 runs himself in 1 inning pitched. Bob Humphreys follows with 1 shutout inning. Allison is 3 for 4 with a double and 2 home runs on the day, the one in the 7th and an earlier solo shot in the 5th. He now has 18 home runs for the year.
