Looking back at this lineup, I hoped for years the Cubs would make another World Series try. Back in '45, I was in the navy, and the series were broadcast via radio courtesy of the Armed Forces Radio Network when we were occupying Tokyo, Japan, very shortly after the war ended. (No TVS then) GO CUBS IN 2016.
