That night I was there as part of a group of Navy enlistees that were presented before the game as "Tiger Co." , on our way to Great Lakes Naval Training Center after the game. As we marched on the field past the Senators dugout, I heard some of the players calling us "fools!" and "suckers" along with some derisive laughter. What Justin Verlander is doing to show support to the vets now is cool. What a difference in two wars.!!
