The sunday game at Yankee Stadium which was won by the Braves was the first WS game I ever attended. I was 16. My sister Eileen and my friend Charley Gebig went to mass tha morning then off to the Stadium on the D train to sit outside the bleacher entrance at 7 am in order to buy a $2.00 ticket for the game. Being a Yankee fan it was a heartbreaker..but we went on to win the Series in 7 games!
