My family took me to this double header for my fifth birthday. (Though until today, I thought it was for my sixth birthday in 1952.) I remember only my limited (though gorgeous) view of the field... no details. But for the rest of my life I have heard how the first Yankee game I ever went to was the historic Allie Reynolds no-hitter to "clinch the pennant." Thank you for allowing me to view all the details of this wonderful event! : ]
