This was my first major league baseball game. An 11-year-old from Kitchener, Ont. and I remember aging Mickey Mantle not doing much at all against soon-to-be World Series champs. My uncle Gene from Detroit took our family to the game and our seats were down the third baseline at Tiger Stadium. When Expos joined the majors the next spring I became a big baseball fan.
